Things I know about photographing children:
1) That I need to be aware of nap-time. And to bring snacks. But not snacks that drip or smear.
2) That I need to use a fast shutter speed...they are not going to hold a pose. And that's ok.
3)That I shouldn't be afraid of crying. (truth: this one was hard for me.) It's a part of who they are.
4) Enjoy. They will inevitable be honest, expressive, and endearing.
This is a little "suite" of images from a recent photo shoot with my friend Christian and his sweet girls.
Another little series....this was fun because it was the little guys first experience with grass. As indicated by his expression in a few of these.
